The soil sensor boasts an IP68 protection level, vacuum-filled and sealed with black flame-retardant epoxy resin. The probe, crafted from 316 stainless steel, offers rust-proof, waterproof, anti-corrosion, salt-alkali corrosion resistance, and long-term electrolysis resistance properties. Its performance is influenced by the soil salt content. Compact in size, it can be buried in the soil for extended periods and is compatible with various soil types.

The soil sensor features an automatic temperature compensation function for conductivity, ensuring measurement accuracy regardless of environmental changes. Its applications span across agricultural irrigation, greenhouses, floriculture and vegetable farming, grassland pastures, rapid soil testing, plant cultivation, scientific experiments, grain storage, and the measurement of moisture content and temperature of various particulate matter.

Soil temperature and moisture directly influence plant growth and nutrient absorption. Soil electrical conductivity (EC) represents soil salinity, a crucial indicator of soil fertility and health. High soil salt content hinders water absorption by plants. Soil pH, or soil reaction, is an acid-base reaction of the soil solution, dependent on the concentration of hydrogen ions. Its expressed by the pH value, with 7 being neutral, less than 7 acidic, and greater than 7 alkaline. Soil pH can generally be divided into the following levels:
